Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mission critical supply chain and operations systems.
• Write clean, scalable code using Java and J2EE.
• Write and tune SQL calls, as part of business logic development.
• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Improve existing software.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
• Support code reviews and system testing of application changes.
  
  

• BS degree. Information Systems/Technology is a plus.
• 5+ years’ experience with front-end and back-end Java development.
• Significant experience with MS SQL database development.
• Significant experience deploying and supporting applications in a Docker environment.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP development and integration is a plus.
• Some exposure to .NET programming language is a plus.
• Project management, system implementation and system integration experience.
• Exposure to supporting high-volume transactions, designed & built in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, C or similar programming languages.
• Exposure to designing, building and utilising web services with REST, SOAP, XML over HTTP APIs
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance in addition to working collaboratively with cross-functional teams that work virtually or from remote offices.
• Knowledges of GitLab repository administration and CI/CD configuration is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Attitude & work ethic adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment.
