Job Summary

As a Senior Intercompany Analyst at BP Business Sol (HC), you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient intercompany transactions and reporting, contributing to the financial integrity and operational effectiveness of the organization.

Shift Timings - 1pm to 10pm (need to extend during close)

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, reconciliation, and settlement of complex intercompany transactions across various entities and regions.
  • Apply Agility core practices to optimize intercompany processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Utilize Analytical Thinking to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business units, and external partners, to resolve intercompany issues.
  • Leverage Commercial Competence to understand the financial impact of intercompany activities and support strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrate strong Communication skills to clearly articulate complex financial information and present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Apply Creativity and Innovation to develop and implement enhanced intercompany control mechanisms and reporting tools.
  • Adopt Customer centric thinking to provide excellent service to internal customers regarding intercompany queries and support.
  • Utilize Data visualization and interpretation techniques to present intercompany data insights effectively.
  • Contribute to accurate and timely Group Reporting related to intercompany transactions.
  • Employ Influencing skills to gain consensus for operational improvements and policy changes.
  • Actively participate in running change initiatives impacting intercompany processes.
  • Prepare and deliver assigned intercompany projects.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with intercompany transactions and propose mitigation strategies as part of Risk Management.
  • Ensure all reconciling items are followed up on a timely basis.
  • Monitor the key jobs and applications on the settlement and PEC processes.
  • IFA posting and reconciliation
  • Monitoring the Cash Due open item, Follow up receivables, on time payment

Essential Education

  • Educated at degree level with finance and accounting, preferably with a relevant accounting professional qualification with proven analytical and system thinking skills and financial knowledge.
  • Understand and ensure application Group Accounting Policies and relevant Group & Finance Standards & Practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in intercompany accounting, analysis, or Group reporting within a large, complex organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Agility core practices.
  • Exceptional Analytical Thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong Collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid Commercial Acumen and understanding of business drivers.
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
  • A track record of Creativity and Innovation in process improvement.
  • Experience in Blackline reconciliations.
  • Customer centric thinking with a focus on internal stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Data visualization and interpretation tools and techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of Group Reporting standards and practices.
  • Strong Influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in Managing change within a financial environment.
  • Proficient in Presenting complex information effectively.
  • Understanding of Risk Management principles in finance.
  • Awareness of Sustainability in a business context.
