A role in the Human Resources & Talent Technology sector focused on building AI-driven recruitment, HR automation, and talent intelligence solutions. The team leverages generative AI and LLM-based workflows to accelerate hiring decisions, candidate experience, and internal HR operations across India.

Position: Prompt Engineer (on-site, India)

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and maintain high-quality prompts and prompt templates for diverse hiring and HR use-cases to maximise relevance and safety.
• Integrate LLMs with application backends using OpenAI API and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain) to deliver production-grade features.
• Develop and manage embedding pipelines and vector-search integrations (FAISS/Pinecone) for semantic search, candidate matching, and knowledge retrieval.
• Define and implement evaluation metrics, automated tests, and monitoring for prompt performance, hallucination mitigation, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Product, ML, and Engineering teams to scope experiments, run A/B tests, and iterate on prompt strategies based on user feedback and telemetry.
• Create and maintain prompt governance, safety guidelines, and a reusable prompt library to ensure consistency and compliance.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building LLM-powered products or prompt-focused ML applications, preferably in production environments.
• Proven track record of shipping prompt-driven features, fine-tuning or instruct-tuning models, or designing embedding/search pipelines.
• Strong understanding of model limitations, safety best practices, and operational cost trade-offs for on-premise or cloud deployments.
