In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead strategic manufacturing initiatives, including regionalization, localization, industrialization, automation, and digital transformation projects.
  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, including project chartering, scope definition, resource planning, risk management, timeline tracking, budget control, execution, and closure.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Lead manufacturing setup activities, including line setup, assembly process development, validation, and production readiness.
  • Support pilot builds, trial runs, line balancing, and cycle time optimization to ensure effective production ramp-up.
  • Drive successful industrialization of new products and processes, including manufacturing transfer and capacity expansion projects.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead digital manufacturing initiatives such as MES integration, IoT-enabled systems, smart factory implementation, traceability, and performance dashboards.
  • Manage equipment procurement, including vendor evaluation, RFQ processes, installation, commissioning, and qualification (FAT/SAT).
  • Oversee CapEx planning, budgeting, and governance to ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines and costs.
  • Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and executive presentations for leadership.
  • Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity, ensuring process stability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end manufacturing or industrial projects.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and execution skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, and process validation.
  • Experience in production ramp-up, industrialization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Exposure to automation systems and digital manufacturing tools.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments or high-volume production industries.
  • Hands-on experience with automation, Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, or localization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with MES, ERP systems (such as SAP), and data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Background in automotive, industrial equipment, electronics, or similar sectors.
  • Experience managing capital-intensive projects and complex industrial setups.
