Your Key Responsibilities
Customer & Project Quality
Act as primary interface with customers to understand customer‑specific requirements and drive improvement actions with effective follow‑up.
Work closely with customers on technical agreements and quality expectations.
Support new product development by understanding CSRs, participating in PFMEA, and mitigating risks before and during DAP.
Align plant issues, Yokoten, and lessons learned into new projects.
Monitor safe launch and initial flow control; manage escalation and reporting of persistent issues.
Conduct NPI / high‑volume production trials prior to PPAP in coordination with Quality Planning teams.
Monitor action plans and escalate if timelines are not met.
In‑Process Quality (Plant QA)
Monitor, review, and analyze internal & external PPM and Cost of Poor Quality across machining and assembly lines.
Ensure product, process, and requalification audits are conducted and documented as per requirements.
Review and close customer audit points within agreed timelines.
Develop a strong quality mindset and drive improvements in coordination with segment leadership.
Monitor IFK and initiate timely interim and permanent corrective actions.
Customer Support
Handle zero‑km and field quality issues for OEM and Tier‑1 customers.
Review 8D reports, ensure effective root cause analysis, customer submission, and on‑time closure.
Visit customer locations for issue analysis, review, and 8D closure when required.
Head Office / BU Coordination
Coordinate with BU leadership for annual KPI finalization and complaint closure targets.
Seek technical inputs and support from BU / plant leadership.
Submit required quality data and reports to HQ as per defined frequency.
Additional Responsibilities & Skills
Train plant‑level personnel on quality systems, tools, and problem‑solving methodologies.
Lead continuous improvement projects and strengthen team problem‑solving capability.
Perform other duties assigned by superiors related to the role.
Strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience in problem‑solving methodologies and quality tools (8D, Core Tools).
Experience with system, process, and product audits.
Knowledge of Machining.
Your Qualifications
BE Mechanical.
Experience: 16–20 Years in: (Quality, Project Quality, In‑Process Quality, or QMS)
Location: Talegaon
Work Mode: Onsite (Work From Plant)
