MECHANICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER

• Manage DPLU, CDC, IVI and other non-electrification Architects developing the mechanical architectures for multiple product lines.
• Experience in electronics/display/Silver boxes both sealed and unsealed for automotive products.
• Resource & Workload planning for the Group
• Ensure up front alignment on Pursuit strategy (Design Approach, Key suppliers, Make/Buy, etc)
• Drive common designs & design practices
• Review and align the development of new/current architecture platforms to new quotes
• Ensure competitiveness/optimization of quote design
• Ensure the quality of the quote package (Design, Documentation, Bill of Material and Presentation Quality)
• Planning & forecasting to ensure availability of resources
• Support Gate 0/1 reviews and Pursuit Planning reviews
• BSME with 10+ years of experience
• CAD skill (simple viewing and image creation)
• Good problem solving skills
• Good presentation skills for customer and internal presentations
