Your role

Ensure Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness ("CAT") requirements Trade capture controls and Trade Lifecycle controls for our investment banking derivatives trades across credit business. This includes daily exceptions management of intersystem reconciliations at transaction/position/cash level, also the associated reporting activities, and ensuring appropriate escalation of items work with other TLCS (Trade & Lifecycle Controlling Services) stakeholders..

We’re looking for a Middle Office Specialist to:

• Be responsible for a suite of controls, facilitating support aimed at mitigating risk and working with other MO functions to resolve escalated issues
• monitor and run the CSAs for SPEs as these are not managed through the bank’s collateral pool
• Run controls on collateral and cash sitting in an SPE – Daily check in respect of any changes made to the collateral held in UBS’s SPVs
• Actively and continually provide ideas and execute on process improvements in the exception management and data quality of submission to clients.
• Be the subject matter expert in all team activities and support teams and peripheral stakeholders.
• Project Management activities – assisting with end-to-end support around IMO initiatives including conducting initial impact analysis, tracking for deliverables and following up with management and IMO staff.
• Take ownership of tracking, updating issue and action logs
• Partner with sales and trading to manage and facilitate new business initiatives
• Participate in strategic change initiatives by acting as subject matter expert

While based full time in Hyderabad/ Pune, youll be working in a global team responsible for functions supporting Trade & Lifecycle Controlling Services. In our collaborative culture, the team works closely with a number of other teams to ensure UBSs obligations are met. You will work with people from all walks of life making this team diverse, sharing ideas and experiences to achieve common goals. You will be responsible for control function, CTM ( Complex transaction management) provide bespoke services over structured products and high value initiatives and offer an independent review and an element of protection to both UBS and our Clients. CTM provide operational solutions to meet Client demand for specific risks, financing, exposures.
