As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of cutting-edge payment solutions, managing and mentoring a team of skilled engineers, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

Technology Stack:

• Possess expertise in Python, Django, MySQL, Postgres, and AWS services.
• Familiarity with React is a plus.
• Ensure the team adheres to best practices and coding standards.
  
  
  

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and robust solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure our technology stack remains innovative and competitive.
  
  
  

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  
  
  

Project Management:

• Work closely with product managers to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges.
  
  
  

Collaboration and Communication:

• Foster open communication within the engineering team and across departments.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as product management and quality assurance, to achieve common goals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and technical initiatives.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong technical background with expertise in Python, Django, MySQL, Postgres, and AWS services.
• Experience with React is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
