Creating passion: your responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities:
Package and distribute software to client systems, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards and as per approved software list.
Coordinate the deployment of patches and updates, monitor system performance post-deployment, and troubleshoot any issues.
Enforce threat and vulnerability management policies to safeguard IT network.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments & implement mitigation strategies in IT infrastructure as well as OT devices.
Design & manage patch-management to ensure client systems are up-to-date and secure.
Create and maintain software packages, test deployments, and manage version control for client systems, servers and mobile devices.
Implement and manage account policies, ensuring proper user authentication, authorization, and access control.
Conduct regular audits of user accounts and permissions to maintain security.
Provide support to end-users for software distribution issues and related queries.
Assist users with troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of software packages.
Coordination with global IT and local cyber security team for implementation of upcoming tools & technologies.
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications Qualification and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, particularly in client and software distribution.
Preferred Skills / Special Skills
Strong knowledge & hands-on experience in threat and vulnerability management, patch management, software packaging, and account policies.
Proficiency in tools like Tanium, SCCM, WSUS, NESSUS, MS Defender, Vulcan etc. with best practices for software distribution and version control.
Strong knowledge of automation & scripting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
