Design Engineer - Fixtures - Off Role

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test rigs, fixtures, and adaptations within timelines.
• Support new product development and research initiatives.
• Operate, maintain, and upgrade test rigs and testing facilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers for fixture design and manufacturing.
• Develop customized test setups for component and system testing.
• Improve existing rigs and ensure uninterrupted operations through proactive planning.
• Document CAD models, drawings, calculations, and lessons learned.
• Maintain compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and 5S practices.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in automotive testing fixtures and test rig development; bearing testing preferred.
• Expertise in CAD modeling (CREO/ProE), GD&T, and fixture design.
• Strong knowledge of machine design, strength calculations, FEA, and material standards.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (heat-treatment, forging, machining, welding, coating, plating).
• Understanding of testing methods, global standards, and instruments used for testing.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, PLM tools; knowledge of IATF16949/ISO systems.
• Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and communication in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, project management, and lab operations.
• Location: Talegaon
• Mode: Work From Plant - 5 Days Week.
