Responsibilities
Evaluate, interpret, and arrive at appropriate and accurate conclusions on dental claims aligned with policy and state/federal law and regulations.
Analyze claim details and apply knowledge of claims procedures, product development, contract provisions, and state and federal regulations to make appropriate, accurate, and timely claim decisions.
Understand plan provisions, determine eligibility, verify data input, identify accurate benefit levels, coordinate benefits, and make necessary corrections.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy and pay strict attention to detail.
Work independently with good time management skills as well as in a team environment.
Efficiently navigate and use multiple technology solutions.
Maintain confidentiality and thrive in a fast-paced, production environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with completed internship; Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or equivalent experience is preferred.
1-2 years of non-clinical work experience is preferred (in TPA, insurance sector, financial services, etc.).
Proficient in conveying information clearly through writing and speaking.
Ability to use basic math skills to determine claim payment.
Skilled in MS Office.
Willingness to work night shifts during training (5:30pm to 2:30am) and regular shifts (1:30pm to 10:30pm).
Must Haves
