The Opportunity

As a Local Procurement Executive based in Pune, India, you will lead and coordinate purchasing activities within Worldlines Indian legal entities, aligning with group strategy and managing supplier relationships. You will drive sourcing activities, contribute to financial savings programs, and support initiatives to optimize competitiveness and financial performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Adapt the group purchasing strategic plan to regional challenges and lead execution plans.
• Define objectives and deploy KPIs to monitor performance, coordinating improvement actions.
• Implement Group policies and local procurement procedures ensuring compliance.
• Identify and mitigate regional purchasing risks and translate purchasing performance into financial results.
• Conduct spend analysis and design the purchasing organization, allocating resources effectively.
• Manage corporate and regional contracts, challenge needs expressions, and ensure cost efficiency considering total cost of ownership and risk mitigation.
• Implement e-procurement and e-sourcing tools.
• Consolidate sourcing needs and monitor market trends to support supplier sourcing strategies.
• Maintain supplier portfolio updates, participate in innovation programs, and foster purchasing synergies to improve cost optimization.
• Lead purchasing team development, encourage best practice exchanges, and support professionalization of purchasing members.

• 5+ Years of Total Exp
• Fluent in English with strong leadership and decision-making skills, able to take responsibility and initiative.

• Customer-focused with a consistent track record of meeting targets and delivering high-quality results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with financial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities.
• Analytical thinker able to break down complex problems and produce practical solutions.
• Solid mastery of the purchasing value chain including sourcing, negotiation (e-auctions, physical auctions), and contract management.
• Experience with e-sourcing platforms and digital procurement tools.
