Backend Engineer -Senior IP C Developer

Who you’ll be working with:

IP network intelligence team in Pune is looking for a new senior C++ team-member to join forces in the world of IP protocols and deep packet inspection. You will be working with IP teams across Cognyte at Israel and Bulgaria.

As a Cognyter you will:

·  Research and reverse engineer IP communication protocols.

·  Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code for deep packet inspection of IP traffic.

·  Work closely with architects and product owners to contribute to overall architecture and system design.

·  Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices; provide mentoring and professional guidance to junior colleagues.

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

• 5+ years of professional experience with C++, working experience with templates, STL, boost libraries.
• B.Sc. in computer science, computer engineering or an equivalent degree
• Knowledge of networking and IP protocols (all layers including application layer)
• Experience with developing large scale and complex system solutions.
• Experience with developing networking applications is an advantage.
• Familiarity with packet inspection tools is an advantage.
• Solution orientation and "can do" attitude with a desire to tackle complex problems.
• A team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Excellent English – verbal and written.
