As a Research Analyst at Straits Research, you will play a key role in conducting market research, writing reports, and driving the production of syndicated reports and client reports. You will be responsible for conducting secondary and primary research, authoring reports, and ensuring the quality of our deliverables. You will work closely with a team of Sr. Associates and Associates to complete production and deliver high-quality content and research studies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and author reports in their respective verticals.
Drive the production of syndicated reports and client reports.
Conduct secondary and primary research to gather insights.
Work closely with a team of Sr. Associates and Associates to complete production.
Ensure the quality of our deliverables, including accuracy and relevance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
Attend client meetings and presentations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely Delivery: Ensure reports are delivered on time, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Client Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through exceptional service and high-quality deliverables.
Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and contribute to sales efforts.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree (Preferred) or Bachelors equivalent in Science/International Business or related field with minimum 2+ years’ experience in their respective domains
Demonstrated client presentation skills
Strong bias towards high-quality production
Integrity & hardworking
Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
Exposure to Data Modeling using Frameworks, Management Models
Should have good analytical skills and be aware of the different research methodologies in use
Should ensure 100% data accuracy in each deliverable
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, actionable insights and strategic guidance to clients
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and findings to a non-technical audience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry experts
