Quatity Surveyor

Job Description

Having good knowledge of quantity surveying related to construction of civil buildings, prefab buildings, factories including sophisticated automation equipments.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, monitor material consumption, and ensure compliance with project budgets and contractual obligations

Monitor the project budget in real-time, ensuring that costs stay within the original "Bill of Quantities" (BOQ).

Conduct monthly on-site measurements of work-in-progress to prepare interim payment applications.

Prepare monthly reports to update senior management on the project's financial health.

Prepare tender packages, analyze returns, and negotiate prices with subcontractors and suppliers.

Verify subcontractor invoices against actual work completed on-site before authorizing payment.

Identify, price, and negotiate "variations" (changes to the original scope of work) to ensure the company is fairly compensated for extra work.
