Role Manager / Engineer Production

Education BE/ BTech Mechanical. Additional Qualification in MBA (Marketing/General Management) is desirable

Professional Experience Manager - 12 + years of experience in large scale Heavy Engineering & manufacturing industry out of which atleast 5 years in Fabrication preferably from Oil and Gas set up.

Key Deliverables

• Develop systems, sub-systems and for execution involving heavy fabrication of Modular structures.
• The manufacturing process involves the fabrication, erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning of piping systems, equipments and E&I systems
• Project Management - Meeting customer & contract requirements with HSE and Quality standards.
• Coordinate between departments such as design engineering, planning, procurement, materials etc for e
• Drive and implement innovative methods for optimizing productivity and cost control
• Prepare & Execute vendors mobilisation plans and schedules.
• Responsible for preparation of daily/weekly/monthly progress reports for management’s review. Responsible for ensuring world class - HSE standards at all times.
• Involve in Costs estimation for proposals
  
  

• Develop strategy for execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the project
• Prepare & update checklists for project execution and as per clauses in the contract
• Develop and ensure safety conditions with respect to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities at site
• Address Operations Readiness matters of the project
• Facilitate flawless pre-fabrication, project start-up, manage operation and maintenance as per requirements
• Manage and ensure that the manufacturing is performed as per project schedule & budget and in compliance with quality & safety requirements
• Participate in Engineering & Special studies
• Address and provide inputs pre-fabrication & site execution related estimates for bids and proposals
  
  

• Interact with Clients Engineering / Allied disciplines for activities planning and resources mobilization
• Align with Clients work processes and governing guidelines for execution
• Manage manpower for execution
• Provide inputs regarding operability and maintainability during constructability studies to Engineering
• Coordinate with Engineering for resolution of process & engineering related issues
• Participate and involve in engineering studies and reviews
  
  

• Experience in managing people and leading specific projects or tasks
• Knowledge of latest manufacturing process, Process engineering, Planning & Scheduling
• Knowledge in Scaffolding
  
  

• Experience in developing documents and procedures related to Execution activities
• Working knowledge in SAP and other related ERPs in a manufacturing set up
• Excellent interpersonal& Communication skills
