Service Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Should be able to carry out the preventive maintenance activity of all coating Machines & supporting Machines.
• Sent repairs in order to production should be able to carry out the Breakdown maintenance activity of all coating Machines & supporting Machines.
• Provide emergency equipment running at all times
• Ensure all Machines are maintained as per Balzers standards.
• Liaison with external agencies on work related to maintenance.
• Monitor the spare parts & raise purchase request.
• Oversee Failures & Initiate preventive action & suggest improvement ideas.
• Provide adequate action plans & detailed root cause analysis in case of a major breakdown.
  
  
  

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge

• University degree / diploma in electronics/electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience as service engineer in mechanical/service industry.
• Knowledge of PVD/CVD coating technology is highly recommended.
