Job Description
The Operational Excellence (OpEx) Professional will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards, and enhancing efficiency across all business functions. The role requires strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen practices, and change management to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, lead, and manage Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen projects to streamline manufacturing, packaging, and support processes.
Apply continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce cycle times.
Improve yield, reduce deviations, and minimize product losses in production.
Facilitate project charters, risk assessments, and track benefits realization.
Establish performance baselines and implement continuous optimization strategies.
Drive and embed a culture of continuous improvement across departments.
Organize and lead OpEx workshops, Kaizen events, and Gemba walks.
Create and present dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to leadership and quality stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain.
Provide training, coaching, and support to build OpEx capabilities within teams.
Ensure process improvements comply with regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, etc.).
Support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., ERP systems) to enhance efficiency and visibility.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred), and Kaizen methodologies.
Experience in pharmaceutical operations (manufacturing, quality, packaging, or supply chain).
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (FDA, GMP, GxP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and change management activities.
Proficiency in digital tools (ERP, data visualization, and reporting tools).
Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Results-oriented mindset with ability to deliver measurable business improvements.
