Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Network Specialist with expertise in enterprise networking, cloud networking, and network security technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting physical and cloud-based network infrastructures across medium to large enterprise environments.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with network devices, firewalls, VPN technologies, infrastructure monitoring, and security management tools. The candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting capabilities and a proactive approach toward ensuring network availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise physical and cloud networking infrastructure. 
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN solutions. 
• Manage and support Cisco Meraki and Cisco ASA environments. 
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security across enterprise infrastructure. 
• Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall configurations, and access controls. 
• Support cloud networking environments and connectivity solutions. 
• Manage network monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability assessment tools. 
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, routing, and security-related issues. 
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams on network optimization initiatives. 
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration records. 
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities. 
• Ensure adherence to IT security, compliance, and operational standards. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of physical and cloud networking concepts. 
• Hands-on experience managing: 
  • Switches 
  • Routers 
  • Firewalls 
  • VPN technologies 
• Mandatory hands-on experience with: 
  • Cisco Meraki 
  • Cisco ASA 
• Experience with network performance monitoring and resource monitoring tools. 
• Experience using vulnerability assessment and security management tools. 
• Strong understanding of network security principles, routing, switching, and firewall administration. 
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and Azure networking services. 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with: 
  • SentinelOne 
  • Qualys 
• Exposure to automation and scripting tools is an added advantage. 

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field is mandatory. 

Certifications

Mandatory certifications include:

• Networking certification (such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) 
• Microsoft Azure certification 

Preferred certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) 
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) 
• Azure Administrator Associate 
• Azure Network Engineer Associate 

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise networking, cloud networking, and network security administration.
