Role Summary:SilverPeakL3/Architect

Location: Pan India

The L3/Architect  SD-WAN Network Engineer will lead complex implementations, advanced troubleshooting, and optimization of Silver Peak SD-WAN solutions. This role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, and WAN technologies, along with integration into multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead deployment and advanced configuration of Silver Peak SD-WAN across large-scale environments.
• Design and implement routing strategies, including BGP route reflectors, OSPF redistribution, and policy-based routing.
• Configure advanced switching features (STP, EtherChannel, VLAN segmentation).
• Optimize traffic engineering and QoS policies for application performance.
• Integrate SD-WAN with firewalls and security policies.
• Establish cloud-onramp connectivity with AWS/Azure using IPsec and BGP.
• Develop automation scripts (Python/Ansible) for configuration and monitoring.
• Perform root cause analysis for complex network issues and provide permanent fixes.
• Mentor L2 engineers and review their configurations.

Maintain detailed network diagrams and configuration baselines

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
• 4+ years of SD-WAN experience (Silver Peak mandatory).
• Expert-level knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF, route redistribution) and switching (L2/L3).
• Strong understanding of MPLS, IPsec, QoS, and WAN optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure networking (Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute).
• Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).

Preferred Certifications:

• Silver Peak ASE / Aruba ACEP.
• CCIE (Routing & Switching or Enterprise).
• AWS/Azure Networking Specialty.

Experience: 8-10 Years .

Skill: Silver Peak Architect/ Sr Architect (L3/L4/L5)

NOTE: Minimum 3 yrs exp on Silver Peak is required

Preferred Certifications

• Silver Peak ASE / Aruba Certified Edge Professional (ACEP) or equivalent.
• AWS / Azure Networking Specialty Certification.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver HLD/LLD for enterprise Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) SD‑WAN deployments.

Architect overlay/underlay, routing, segmentation, and branch‑to‑DC/cloud connectivity.

Define network topology, traffic engineering, QoS, and application performance optimization.

Plan and execute phased WAN migrations from MPLS/legacy networks to SD‑WAN.

 Standardize configuration templates, policies, and automation frameworks.

Design and implement cloud on‑ramps, including IPsec and BGP for AWS/Azure.

Integrate SD‑WAN routing and segmentation with firewalls and security controls.

Lead L3 escalations, deep troubleshooting, and RCA for complex WAN issues.

Maintain architecture diagrams, inventories, and configuration baselines.

Establish best practices, standards, and governance for SD‑WAN design and deployment.
