Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and validate engineering deliverables including GA, SLD, schematics, CT/PT calculations, AC/DC calculations, GTP, TTR, and signal lists.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as IEC 62271-100 and IEC 62271-200, including type and routine testing requirements.
• Support and participate in FAT/SAT activities to ensure quality and design adherence.
• Understand customer requirements and provide technically sound design solutions.
• Present, justify, and defend engineering designs during customer discussions and approvals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor, maintain, and report engineering KPIs and quality objectives.
• Drive adherence to project timelines with minimal supervision.
• Travel within India for customer meetings and drawing approvals, as required.
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience in MV distribution systems with a focus on control & protection.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in MV GIS switchgear or Control & Relay Panel (CRP) engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and EPLAN for electrical drawing preparation and modification.
• Strong knowledge of substation automation systems and communication architectures.
• Solid understanding of engineering calculations (CT/PT, AC/DC systems) and documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
