YOUR TASKS

Job Purpose
Manage end-to-end import and export logistics operations, customs compliance, warehouse operations, inventory control, and production support while ensuring timely material availability and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Import customs clearance through ICEGATE and coordination with CHA.
• Handle BoE, HSN classification, customs duty, FTA benefits, and import documentation.
• Manage imports of electronic components, PCB assemblies, chemicals, tools, machinery, and plastic parts.
• Coordinate urgent shipments from Asia, Europe, and North America through Sea, Air, Express, and Courier modes.
• Manage export documentation, shipping bills, customer dispatches, and freight coordination.
• Verify incoming materials against PO and invoices and process GRN/GRPO in SAP.
• Manage supplier claims, debit notes, rejection handling, scrap management, and warehouse reconciliation.
• Ensure zero production line stoppages through critical material monitoring and supplier follow-up.
• Drive Shelf Life ,FIFO, FEFO, IQC coordination, warehouse organization, and storage optimization.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, ABC analysis, inventory reconciliation, and slow-moving stock reduction.
• Support internal, external, customer, and statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with IATF,EHS,FES, 5S, HSE, Safety Standards, forklift compliance, and warehouse best practices.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master’s degree will be highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years experience in logistics, import/export, supply chain management, or shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge on import/export laws and regulations is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in customs procedures, including Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF), and Free on Board (FOB).
• SAP MM/WM, ICEGATE, Customs Regulations, HSN Classification, FTA Compliance, Freight Management, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, MS Excel.
  Key KPIs
• Strong understanding of trade compliance and domestic/international shipping regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of documentation such as Letters of Credit, Airway Bill, Bill of Lading, Draft, Insurance, Inspection Certificate, etc.
• Highly proficient in logistics software, particularly Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other creating/ managing documentation software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and proven capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Superior negotiation skills and ability to analyze contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and overseas suppliers.
• Demonstrated capability of working responsibly and ethically in order to ensure compliance with all business rules and processes.
• Certification in international trade, export controls or customs and border protection will be an added advantage.
