This is a hybrid role. You will write the content that
brings people to The Migration and run the social media channels that keep them
engaged. Roughly half your time will go to writing (website service pages,
blogs, captions, scripts and email) and half to social media management (owning
the content calendar, publishing, and making sure every channel posts on time
and on brand).
Your goal is simple: consistent, accurate, high-quality
content that turns Australian migration and education audiences into booked
consultations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Content Writing (approx. 50%)
Write
and update website service pages for each visa and education service line
(skilled/PR, partner, parent, employer-sponsored, student and graduate
visas, and COE/enrolments), following the SEO brief from the SEO Team
Lead.
Write
SEO blog articles and FAQ content targeting high-intent search terms,
using keyword research from SEMrush and Google Search Console.
Write
social media copy: captions, carousel text, static post headlines, hooks
and calls to action.
Write
short-form video scripts (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) in English and
conversational Hinglish/Urdu, working with the video editors on delivery.
Draft
email (EDM) and WhatsApp broadcast copy for warm-database campaigns, such
as visa-expiry reminders and Education-to-Visa cross-sell.
Support
ad copy for Meta and Google Ads when the Performance team needs it.
Keep
every piece accurate and compliant: no guarantees of visa outcomes, no
misleading claims, and visa facts checked against official Department of
Home Affairs sources and approved by the MARA agent before publishing
where needed.
B. Social Media Management (approx. 50%)
Own
the monthly content calendar for The Migrations social channels
(Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube). Plan it at least two
weeks ahead and get it approved by the Digital Marketing Manager.
Publish
and schedule all posts through Meta Business Suite and the companys
scheduling tools. Make sure nothing goes out late, duplicated or
off-brand.
Brief
the Graphic Designer and Video Editors with clear creative briefs and
deadlines, and track every asset from brief to published.
Keep
the content mix balanced across service lines and funnel stages:
awareness, education, trust (testimonials, success stories, team) and
conversion (consultation offers).
Track
trends, visa policy updates and Australian migration news, and turn them
into timely posts within 24 to 48 hours.
Work
with the Community & Engagement Lead so comments and DMs are answered
quickly and lead-intent conversations go into GHL (GoHighLevel).
Report
weekly performance (reach, engagement, followers, link clicks, leads from
social) to the Senior Data Analyst for the Weekly Business Review, and
suggest one content experiment per month.
Maintain
the brand voice guide, caption templates and content library, so the team
can work from one source of truth.
C. General
Track
all tasks and deadlines in Plane, our project management tool.
Join
weekly team meetings and share progress, blockers and ideas.
Cover
social media publishing and calendar duties when the Social Media Team
Lead is on leave.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelors
degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, Media Studies or a
related field.
2 to
4 years of professional experience in content writing and social media
management, ideally both in the same role.
Excellent
written English (Australian/UK spelling) with a clear, simple, persuasive
style.
Fluent
in Urdu; able to write conversational Hindi/Urdu (Hinglish) scripts.
Hands-on
experience with Meta Business Suite and at least one scheduling tool; able
to run a content calendar end to end.
Working
knowledge of SEO writing: keywords, headings, meta titles and
descriptions, internal linking.
A
portfolio of published work: website pages or blogs and social media
posts/scripts.
Strong
organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple
deadlines.
Nice to have
Experience
in immigration, education, study-abroad or other professional services
marketing.
Familiarity
with SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Canva and AI writing tools (used
responsibly with fact-checking).
Basic
knowledge of Australian visa categories and the role of MARA-registered
agents.
Experience
with a CRM such as GoHighLevel and a project tool such as Plane, ClickUp
or Asana.
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive
monthly salary, based on experience.
Benefits
as per company policy.
A
clear role in a growing marketing team working on real, measurable
outcomes.
Exposure
to the Australian market and multi-channel marketing (SEO, Meta, Google
Ads, CRM).
A
structured learning plan, monthly OKRs and regular one-to-ones with the
Digital Marketing Manager.
