Job Description

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments through phone, email, or scheduling software.
  • Prepare and send reminders for upcoming appointments and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and respond to inquiries professionally and empathetically.
  • Escalate complex patient concerns to the appropriate medical staff or department.
  • Collect patient information and update records during virtual check-ins.
  • Provide patients with instructions for telehealth sessions and other virtual services.
  • Manage daily workflows to ensure timely communication between patients and medical staff.
  • Coordinate with medical providers to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Organize and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and maintain clinic efficiency.


Requirements

Work Experience :

  • 02 years of virtual medical assistance experience in a US-based healthcare company is required.
  • Experience working with EMR software.

Education:

  • Any of the following degrees is required: MBBS with 01-year house job, MD with 01-year house job, Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT), or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in scheduling and communication tools, including Microsoft Office and telehealth platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and data entry skills.
  • Ability to empathise with patients’ needs and communicate with professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Critical decision-making skills.


Benefits

  • Workdays: Monday - Friday
  • Work hours:   6 pm – 3 am PKT (Night shift)
  • Gross Salary (USD):   $500 - $550
