About this opportunity:

This role is fundamentally dedicated to Handling VAS Operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes with proper work focus for Alarm handling, support Hardware/software/configuration related issues, configuration of all Nodes pertaining to VAS domains and emergency handling/outage Support for VAS and IMS nodes/products/network.

What you will do:

• Ensuring a smooth operation of the GSM,TCP-IP.
• Be part of a team managing specific VAS Network activities associated with Mobile GSM(2G,3G,4G) Network.
• Administrating VAS and Support Systems (SMSC/MMSC/CRBT/OTA/LI/PCRF/Vo-Wifi)
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
• Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc.).
• Problem Escalations and Follow-ups (CSR).
• Performance Analysis & Investigation.
• Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments.
• Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.
• Troubleshooting/Fault finding/RCA in configuration/hardware/software.
• Outage/emergency reporting.
• Adherence to Processes.
• To undertake any other reasonable task as assigned.
  
  

The skills you bring:

• BE/Btech, BCA/MCA
• This role is for 24*7 support rotational shift .
• Having 8-13 years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment.
• Knowledge of GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, SCCP, SCTP ,IMS and Diameter protocol.
• Must have Knowledge of Linux, OS- (Linux, Solaris), IP basics, PCRF, SMSC, and Provisioning system
• Rx Interface Using Diameter For VoLTE.
• VOIP/IMS Call Flows.
