Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Able to work a permanent night-shift, office-based operating model supporting US Consumer Bank Operations during the 4 PM IST to 5 AM IST operating window across a 7-day environment. ( Note: There is no option of a day shift )

• Able to use operational and system tools such as AWS, Salesforce, access/profile management, request management, incident management, and BCheck to support daily delivery, tracking, and escalation routines.

• Able to monitor metrics ( some examples are shrinkage, shrinkage and availability drivers, workforce levels and system availability, workforce time and absence / off time, time-off trends. This will support capacity management.

• Identify risks to capacity around shrinkage, no call - no shows, time off levels, trends, provide clear visibility to Operations, Workforce Management, and senior stakeholders.

• Conduct reviews around control effectiveness, completion, evidences and escalations around breaks.

• Manage to control accesses, BCheck, add-change-delete requests.

Support Access Controls for appropriateness, segregation & avoidance of conflict of interest, inventory updates, approvers and at times audit support, monthly recons, persona maintenance, and reporting.
