UFT Testing

Your Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UFT Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Micro Focus UFT (formerly HP UFT/QTP). You will work closely with functional testers, developers, and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions across desktop, web, and enterprise applications.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT for functional and regression testing.
• Design reusable test components and frameworks for scalable automation.
• Integrate UFT scripts with test management tools like ALM/QC.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
• Maintain test data and support test environment setup
  
  

• Hands-on experience with Micro Focus UFT/QTP.
• Strong knowledge of VBScript for scripting and automation logic.
• Experience with HP ALM / Quality Center for test management and defect tracking.
• Understanding of keyword-driven and data-driven testing frameworks.
• Ability to automate desktop and web-based applications
