Job Description
Transition Managers are responsible and manage significant transition programs inclusive of transferring services and staff from one delivery model to another or from one service provider to another (internal or external). They ensure that service levels are maintained throughout and are responsible for the budget, project plans and for the reporting to the customer and internal management.
Job Description - Grade Specific
Transition Director - Operate at board level in multi-site engagements. TMs are fully responsible for providing deliverables or service to specification, within agreed cost and timescale, meeting the necessary quality standards and to customer satisfaction. TMs conduct client negotiations to agree terms for changes to the scope of the project or service, setting realistic expectations and ensuring commercial viability. TMs manage project or service teams, plan activities and monitor progress. TMs ensure all project deliverables or services are provided using best practices and are of an appropriate quality. TMs provide factual analysis of the project or service portfolio and the teams performance and compliance to standard tools and processes.
