Tender Executive SOLAR EPC

A fast-growing business in the Renewable Energy sector operating within Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) — delivering turnkey solar PV solutions across utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I) segments in India. The role supports on-site tendering activities for end-to-end project wins, from RFP intake through contract handover, and requires strong commercial and technical bid execution skills.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end tender lifecycle for Solar EPC projects: identify opportunities, review RFPs, and drive timely, compliant bid submissions across India (on-site role).
• Prepare and validate BOQs, scope documents, technical and commercial proposals, price schedules and bid annexures in collaboration with engineering, procurement and finance teams.
• Lead cost estimation and margin modelling: analyse vendor quotations, prepare L1/L2 comparisons, and negotiate supplier rates to optimise bid competitiveness.
• Coordinate pre-bid and post-bid activities: site surveys, RFIs, client clarifications, bid queries, and addenda tracking to ensure compliance and reduce commercial risk.
• Ensure bids align with EPC contract terms, technical standards, grid and statutory requirements; highlight commercial exceptions and approval points to stakeholders.
• Maintain tender pipeline, track bid status, prepare management reports and support contract closure, commercial clarifications and transition to project teams.
