What Youll Do

• Spearhead front-end application development encompassing React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate on front-end development initiatives to ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
• Encourage the team with your unwavering passion and drive for all things technical.
• Proactively identify risks and formulate contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure our products remain competitive.
• Ensure appropriate continuous integration practices are being maintained.
• Build, implement, and maintain an administration tool for Aristocrat’s game deployments under the Aristocrat Interactive products portfolio.
• Collaborate with team members and share knowledge to refine guidelines.
• Take technical ownership of the modules/features assigned to you.
• Work closely with Software Architects, Product Managers, product developers, domain experts, and others on assigned modules.
• Analyze and estimate tasks assigned with minimum deviation.

What Were Looking For

• Proficient in React, JavaScript/TypeScript with a deep understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Good experience in writing fast, efficient JavaScript code that follows web optimization guidelines.
• Outstanding technical writing skills for creating thorough user documentation.
• Ability to build and articulate complex technical solutions effectively.
• Hands-on experience in developing client-side enterprise applications.
• Sound grasp of software development methodologies such as TDD, BDD, and Unit Testing.
• Proficiency with continuous delivery, integration, and build technologies.
• Working knowledge of Git, preferably with experience in GitLab.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful Web Services on client and server, demonstrating solid knowledge.
• Experience with NPM, Jest, Webpack, and other build tools.
• Excellent programming skills along with development & debugging experience.
• Proficient problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to development considering delivery deadlines and code quality.
• Demonstrates high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to grasp functional aspects well (quickly and with minimal mentorship).
• Collaborate with distributed team/studio Leads for status updates, mentorship, and working as one team to deliver defined goals.
• Comfortable in dynamic work environments with evolving priorities and context switching.
• Possesses keen business insight and recognizes the significance of return on investment.
  
  

Qualifications

• B.Tech. / B.E. / MCA /M.Tech. in Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years involved in front-end development using React, HTML5, JavaScript/Typescript
• Requires a demonstrable experience with React
• Experience with an Agile development methodology, preferably Scrum.
• Must have good communication skills, able to work with team.
• Good inter-personal skills. Should be able to mentor and motivate others.
