We are looking for an exceptional person to lead our Ground and Water (Contaminated Land) team in India. You will have at least 15 years’ post-graduate experience working in the Geo-environmental field.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and coaching team members in the GCC Ground & Water Team. This will include the day-to-day management of a team, delivery of projects working closely with and being supported by other team members, Project Managers and Directors within the UK team.
The position would suit someone with extensive experience in the UK contaminated land sector who would like to further develop their leadership and technical consultancy skills and build a successful team. The role involves organizational and administrative responsibilities and requires skills, such as planning, analysis and Judgement.
The Team Leader will be responsible for both the technical and commercial delivery of projects, including effective delegation and checking of work, and will be responsible for the line management and mentoring of more junior staff ensuring their technical development and career progression.
The Team Leader is also expected to ensure that their own professional skills and competencies are continually improved to meet the requirements of the team and any relevant professional bodies.
