As a Senior Engineer I (Manual Testing), you will have a key role in making sure our products meet top quality and performance standards. What You'll Do
Analyze new features and improvements to define test scope, dependencies, and risk areas.
Build, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Complete functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing to ensure flawless product performance.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of testing artifacts and checklists.
Provide clear test status updates and defect metrics for releases.
Record, monitor, and confirm defects using tools such as JIRA and Zephyr.
Carry out detailed root cause analysis and offer valuable insights to development teams.
Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and validate fixes.
Use debugging and profiling tools (e.g., Valgrind, Google Sanitizer) to identify performance and memory-related issues.
Follow established QA processes and standards, while finding opportunities to streamline workflows and improve testing efficiency.
Contribute to improving test strategies and operational practices.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
3-4 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycles.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Ability to read, comprehend, and evaluate application code to assist with testing and root cause analysis.
Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (preferably Python).
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, etc.).
Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting experience using industry-standard tools.
Experience with profiling utilities like Valgrind and Google Sanitizer.
Experience working with source control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify automation opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in the gaming industry.
Experience testing SDKs or development toolkits.
Experience working in CI/CD environments.
Exposure to automation.
