The Xbox Experiences and Platforms team is home to the engineering work that makes this vision possible, building the developer tools and services that enable game creators to craft incredible experiences, the commerce systems that connect publishers with their audience and help gamers engage with their next favorite games, the platforms on which those games play at their best, and the experiences that turn every screen into an Xbox. 

We are the services team dedicated to helping clients deliver exceptional customer experiences quickly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll build features on services that ensure players enjoy a seamless and consistent gaming experience across Web, TV, Console, PC, and Mobile.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to adding functionality to large-scale Microsoft services, applying modern Microsoft technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts across locations to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Follow established engineering principles, participate in code reviews, and learn project management fundamentals.
  • Assist in governance activities, execute technical tasks, and ensure quality through automated testing and integration validation.
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, write unit and integration tests, and support CI/CD pipeline updates.
  • Engage in continuous learning, seek mentorship, and develop skills in scalable systems and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

Masters/Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1-3 year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, .Net, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred

  • Excellent skills in problem solving and debugging.  
  • Passion for customers, product quality and test engineering.
