Job Summary

The Shopify Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify-based eCommerce websites. The role focuses on creating scalable, high-performing online stores, developing custom themes and applications, integrating third-party services, and optimizing website performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Salary:INR 80,000 - 1,40,000 / month

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify eCommerce websites and applications.
• Design and customize Shopify themes using Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
• Develop custom Shopify features based on business requirements.
• Work with Shopify Online Store 2.0 architecture and best practices.
• Integrate Shopify with third-party applications, payment gateways, and external services.
• Develop and consume Shopify APIs including Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Implement SEO best practices for Shopify-based websites.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across Shopify applications.
• Maintain source code using Git and follow version control best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes and continuous improvements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
• Strong expertise in Shopify platform, theme development, and customization.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0.
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs).
• Experience integrating third-party applications and services.
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
