Position Overview

Senior Electrical Designer conducts design and drafting under Principal or Lead Engineer supervision mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities.

The ideal candidate for the position will have a strong background in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, be proficient in Topside Electrical Design, and Hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA etc.)

The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while also managing a team or project activities.

This role may require frequent travel to the US, Europe, and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Under Head of Discipline, Principal or Lead Electrical Engineer or Designers supervisor, conduct Electrical Design, Drafting, 3D Modeling, and clash detection with other disciplines using AVEVA E3Ds tools for electrical Discipline
• Participation on 30%, 60%, 90% model review and comment closure
• Senior Designer to produce design drawings from sketches, notes, Review of vendor drawings
• Electrical deliverables and generating bills of materials(BOMs), lists, and equipment Lists directly from the 3D model.
• Develop Electrical Design Database in Engineering information Management Platform
• Ensure as-built Electrical deliverables.
  
  

• Minimum Diploma / ITI in Electrical or equivalent Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience for offshore /on shore Electrical design& drafting/ modeling
• Working experience in Engineering Software - AVEVA Electrical, SPEL and AGI 32
• Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities.
• Good level of understanding of English, with strong oral and written communication skills
