Position Overview

Senior Process Safety Designer conducts design and drafting under Lead Engineer supervision mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities.

The ideal candidate for the position will have a strong background in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, be an expert in Topside Process Safety Design & Drafting along with Hands-on experience in Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA, etc)

Key Responsibilities

• Design / drafting of fire fighting system UFDs, P&IDs.
• Design /drafting of safety shower and eyewash P&IDs
• Prepare hazardous area classification layout in accordance to HAC schedule and vendor HAC layout.
• Prepare escape route, fire fighting & safety equipment layout in compliance with IMO SOLAS, API, NFPA, standards.
• Prepare safety sign layout to ensure
• Prepare deluge nozzle coverage layout for topside firewater/ foam deluge system and deck foam deluge system
• Ensure design compliance with applicable codes / standards .
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical or related discipline.
• 10 years of process and process safety design/drafting experience, with at least 3–5 years in FPSO/FLNG topside projects at EPC or offshore contractor.
• Hands‑on expertise with AUTOCAD /AVEVA PDMS/E3D/ SmartPlant/ Navisworks and related design /drafting tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with EPC project execution.
