Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

This role provides an opportunity to shape enterprise AI, innovation and emerging technology strategy while building and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, incubating innovative solutions, driving capability development, and positioning the organisation at the forefront of AI-driven transformation.

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Automation and Generative AI Innovation Architect / Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and other allied systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in solution design and build, Agentic AI, enterprise solution architecture, stakeholder management, leading firm initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

Innovation leadership

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Innovative and AI solutions on SAP BTP with possible collaboration with other cloud platforms.
• Define and drive innovation roadmaps aligned with strategic business priorities.
• Build reusable assets, accelerators, frameworks and intellectual property that enhance delivery effectiveness.
• Identify emerging technology trends and assess their applicability for enterprise adoption.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to identify and deliver AI-driven transformation opportunities.

Capability building

• Develop and grow capabilities across AI, cloud, automation and digital engineering domains.
• Coach and mentor managers, architects and consultants to build future leadership pipelines.
• Drive recruitment, talent development and succession planning activities.

Growth & thought leadership

• Contribute to proposals, solution pursuits, strategic initiatives and market-facing thought leadership.
• Prepare for and drive stakeholder discussions, architecture reviews, solution estimations, and client presentations.
• Represent the organisation at internal and external forums, workshops and technology events.

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 13-15+ years of overall technology experience with at least 4–6 years in SAP BTP and cloud solution delivery, 3-4 years in generative AI solution delivery and 10+ years of team management experience.
• Strong hands-on understanding of SAP BTP, SAP Business AI services and cloud technologies.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale intelligent automation solutions using SAP and non-SAP stacks.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript and familiarity with modern AI frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, integration patterns, security, governance, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong interest in leading and managing innovation initiatives and exploring ways to collaborate with other technologies.
• Proven experience leading geographically distributed multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive decision makers.
• Strong programme and portfolio management experience.
• Experience balancing innovation, governance, delivery excellence and commercial objectives.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
• Strong executive communication and storytelling skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with SAP BTP, Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Architectures, and Knowledge Graphs.
• Experience with AI tooling such as Cursor / Replit and other enterprise productivity software such as SharePoint, Power Platform, etc.
• Experience establishing innovation programmes, AI centres of excellence or emerging technology practices.
• Experience scaling engineering or AI teams from early-stage capability through enterprise adoption.
• Exposure to product management, venture incubation or innovation lab environments.
• Experience developing reusable AI, cloud or automation assets that achieved enterprise-wide adoption.
• Public speaking, conference presentations or thought leadership publications.
