The RMG Manager is responsible for driving end-to-end workforce planning, resource optimization, financial governance, and stakeholder management across the AI/DE organization. The role focuses on maximizing billable utilization, managing bench and investment resources, overseeing budget vs. actual vs. forecast, tracking technology, infrastructure and license costs, and providing data-driven insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Workforce Planning & Resource Management
Manage end-to-end resource allocation across billable, internal, investment, and strategic initiatives.
Optimize resource utilization while minimizing bench.
Drive proactive workforce planning based on demand forecasts.
Partner with Delivery Leaders to ensure timely staffing of projects.
Monitor resource availability and recommend redeployment strategies.
2. Budget, Forecast & Financial Governance
Own workforce budget planning and monitor Budget vs. Actual vs. Forecast across business portfolios.
Track workforce costs across projects, investments, and internal initiatives.
Monitor and govern Technology, Infrastructure, Cloud, Software License, and other delivery-related operational costs
Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Delivery teams to monitor spend against approved budgets.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting exercises.
Identify financial risks, cost overruns, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare financial dashboards and executive reports for leadership reviews.
3. Bench & Investment Resource Management
Manage bench governance and resource deployment strategy.
Monitor investment resources and ensure optimal utilization.
Track aging of bench resources and develop action plans.
Collaborate with business leaders for redeployment.
Publish regular bench and investment reports.
4. Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with Business Leaders, Delivery Leaders, Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, and PMO teams.
Facilitate leadership reviews and provide actionable recommendations.
Drive governance discussions and resource review meetings.
5. Analytics & Reporting
Develop dashboards and analytical reports for leadership.
Analyze utilization, capacity, forecasting accuracy, demand pipeline, and resource productivity.
Create executive-level presentations and MIS reports.
6. Operational Governance
Ensure adherence to resource management, financial governance, and cost control processes.
Support cost code governance, project onboarding, and resource mobilization activities.
Govern technology, infrastructure, and software license utilization to optimize operational costs.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across RMG operations.

Preferred Experience
8–12 years of overall experience.
7–10 years in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, PMO, Financial Planning, or Operations.
Experience managing large enterprise workforce planning.
Experience working with cross-functional global stakeholders.
Knowledge of professional services, consulting, or IT services organizations is preferred.
MBA or PGDM is preferred.
