Power BI Analyst

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

Create and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.

Develop interactive visualizations and KPIs for business users.

Able to develop and integrate Power BI Fabric.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity and security within reporting solutions.

Monitor report performance and implement optimization techniques.

Collaborate with business, IT and data engineering teams.

Support report deployment, user training, and ongoing maintenance.

Document reporting processes, data definitions, and business logic.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven 3-5 years of experience as a Power BI Expert, with expertise in Microsoft Fabric as well.

Strong proficiency in:

Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

Power Query (M Language)

SQL and database concepts

Data modeling and ETL processes

 Experience with data warehouses and large datasets.

 Experience of Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or SQL.
