Broad Function:


We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with extensive experience in JMeter ,Kafka you will lead the design, execution, and analysis of performance tests to evaluate the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our software applications. Candidate must have a proven track record of delivering successful performance testing initiatives and optimizing application.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for Load and performance testing
  • Create a strategy to address how performance testing will be integrated within sprints.
  • Checking for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance
  • Create and implement end to end Load & performance testing strategy.
  • Participating in product design and architectural discussions to understand application performance requirements.
  • Must have strong expertise in debugging.
  • Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement performance optimizations, code enhancements, and Infrastructure changes based on test findings.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance requirements are integrated into the software development lifecycle.





Requirements


  • 6+ years of experience working on performance testing using JMeter/Load Runner and engineering of large-scale web applications and SAAS product testing.
  • Hands-on experience in performance testing, analysing application performance and performance engineering space using LoadRunner /JMeter.
  • Have experience in micro services testing.
  • Able to simulate real-world traffic spikes, uncover systems breaking point, produce long-term stability.
  • Experience of application performance testing including stress, load and capacity testing, Interact with the various business stakeholders and understand the performance testing requirements and prepare performance test plans.
  • Must be able to Establish performance benchmarks to measure improvements and identify regressions.
  • Monitor and Create performance test strategy.
  • Understand business scenarios in depth to define workload modelling for different scenarios.
  • Create the requested stress test scripts using JMeter/Load Runner and execute scripts in a load environment.
  • Able to analyse performance test results accurately and present results and analysis - report on the performance statistics (CPU, memory, transaction responses time)
  • Knowledge of APM tools for monitoring, profiling and tuning like Solar winds, Dynatrace etc.
  • Execute various types of performance tests.
  • Experience in root cause analysis of performance issues and ability to provide hardware/software tuning recommendations.
  • Experience in both Linux and Windows environments.
