About this opportunity:

Were looking for a talented MS Core and Cloud Specialist at Ericsson, where youll have the chance to showcase your technology leadership skills for our Packet Core and 5G SA domains. In this role, youll be a crucial part of our Managed Services deliveries, in accordance with the needs of the Ericsson Operations Engine.

What you will do:

The Senior Engineer – PS Design is typically assigned to work for Design related activities in a managed services operations organization. The candidate will be responsible for:
•    Design delivery for regular planned and emergency activities in PS Domain
•    Designing, configuration and troubleshooting of core network nodes (SGSN/MME, GGSN/PGW/SGW, EPDG, AAA, AMF, SMF, NRF, PCRF/PCF) across Ericsson, Cisco, Huawei and Nokia platforms
•    Participate in technical discussions focused on new solutions/customer requirements and provide actionable recommendations
•    Support emergency requirements such as ICR/Data Barring/DPI etc
•    Support LTE/5GSA configuration and troubleshooting activities
•    Collaborate closely with SRF, NPI, Project, Circle & Customer Planning teams to plan activities and its execution
•    Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards and core protocols in all activities

Skillset Required:

•    Good understanding of PS Core, 5G & VoWifi Technologies
•    Hands on experience at Huawei/Cisco/Ericsson/Nokia Packet Core Elements (SGSN/MME/GGSN/GWs/DNS/EPDG/AAA/PCRF/AMF/SMF)
•    Good understanding of IP, CS Core & IMS Network
•    Knowledge of SS7/IP signaling/SIP/Diam/TCP/UDP
•    Good understanding of PS Core/5G/VoWifi Call flows, KPIs and regular operational activities
•    In-depth product knowledge of Cisco/Huawei/Nokia/Ericsson(At-least 2) Packet Core Network Elements
•    Configuration and troubleshooting experience of Packet Core Network 
•    Knowledge of VOLTE/IMS related configuration in PS Core elements
•    Good understanding of various PS Core interfaces configuration & integration
•    Good understanding of Deep Packet Inspection configurations.
•    Knowledge of Latest Paco Nodes/Technologies – CUPS, F5, Cloud, 5G NSA, 5G SA, VoWifi
•    Should be confident, self-motivated and be able to work independently
•    Should work well under time constraints.
•    Adopts a right first-time approach to working practices
•    Should have good verbal, oral and written communication skills in English
