Purpose

This role protects IDEMIA by ensuring compliance with laws and contributes to IDEMIA value creation by providing legal advice in support of business decisions and operations

Key Missions

Contracting – 50%

Drafting, vetting and negotiating various contracts for BU CS (including Digital and Automotive) like Sale Contract, MSA & Work Order, Software License Agreement, End-User License Agreement, PO, Commercial Offer, Bank Guarantee, Service Agreements, MoU, SLA, NDA etc.
Public procurement including review of tenders, RFPs, RFQs, preparation of pre-bid queries and deviations, etc.
Drafting and reviewing of various legal documentation
Advising senior management on various legal topics / issues, impact assessment and risk mitigation plan
Legal research and study on new legal developments

Litigation – 50%

Drafting and reviewing of legal notices and replies thereof
Drafting and reviewing of petitions, affidavits, submissions, applications, replies, pleadings and other legal documents
Handling appropriate litigations like arbitration matters, Writs, Labour disputes, Criminal matters, consumer disputes, pre-litigation mediation etc.
Briefing to the external counsel and coordination/follow up for litigation matters of the Company
Legal research and advising litigation strategies
Co-ordination and follow-up with various internal and external stakeholders for completion of assigned projects
