Job Description
Key Responsibilities Premium Accounting
- Record and reconcile ceded and assumed premiums.
- Review treaty and facultative reinsurance transactions.
- Process premium adjustments and bookings.
- Book claim reserves and claim settlements.
- Maintain reinsurance recoverable balances.
- Monitor outstanding claims and recoveries.
- Calculate and reconcile reinsurance recoverables.
- Prepare and issue statements to reinsurers.
- Manage collections and payments with reinsurers.
- Prepare management and regulatory reports.
- Support statutory and GAAP reporting requirements.
- Monitor aging of recoverables and cash balances.
