Description

Role Summary: We are looking for proficient bilingual professional fluent in Japanese and English to support the IT service projects. The role involves responsibilities along with Japanese language translation and interpretation for technical documentation, meetings, and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Japanese clients and internal teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
• Translate and interpret technical documents, emails, and meetings (Japanese ↔ English).
• Should be able to understand infrastructure services.
• Act as a cultural and linguistic bridge between Japanese stakeholders and Indian technical teams.
  
  

Prerequisites

• Qualification and Certification
• Candidate must be a graduate.
• JLPT N2 or higher (N1 preferred)
• The candidate must be fluent in communicating in both the languages, Japanese as well as English.
• Experience
• 0-2 years of experience in bilingual technical roles.
• Prior experience working with Japanese clients and interpreting technical content.
• Other Skills
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, and CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  

Base Location: The Job location shall be in Noida office in principle (India). Candidate should be flexible to Travel to Japan, if needed.

Responsible for the translation and integration of software, websites, and technical documents into the local languageAnalyzes, designs, and develops an infrastructure that facilitates a common interface for globalization and localization requirementsPerforms and creates scripts, tools, and language-specific character encodings to support international languagesEnsures accuracy and consistency in translations revisions of technical terms, terminology, and methodologiesMaintains localization tools, including documentation and training/technical support for the localization process and recommends improvements as necessaryExpertise in language localization tools (e.g., World Server translation memories™, SDLX, Trados, etc.)

Entry to developing level professional with little or no prior experience required. Applies a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Work is closely supervised. Works to deliver day-to-day objectives with limited impact on achievement of results for the job area. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
