Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment (job posting, screening, interviews, offer letters).

  • Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure smooth induction for new employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee counseling with empathy and compliance.

  • Promote open communication and a positive work environment.

HR Operations:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRMS and physical files.

  • Support payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, and overtime.

  • Assist in managing HR metrics such as attrition, training hours, etc.

Compliance & Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Assist in audits and maintenance of statutory records (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, etc.).

  • Support the implementation and review of HR policies and procedures.

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate training schedules, feedback, and records.

  • Identify training needs in consultation with department heads.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the performance appraisal cycle and documentation.

  • Track probation evaluations and confirmation processes.

Employee Engagement:

  • Organize employee welfare activities, events, and surveys.

Drive engagement programs to improve morale and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be qualified for Welfare Officer as per the Factory Act, 1948

  • 3-7 years of experience in generalist HR functions.

  • Understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS, Excel, etc.).

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
