Job Title: Graduate Engineer Trainee

Role Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee will support automation development, AI-enabled operations, and image data management activities. The role involves developing and maintaining automation scripts, supporting Azure-based solutions, leveraging GenAI and Copilot for productivity, and assisting with image data processing and quality management.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Python or Java.
Own and support existing automation solutions and workflows.
Build and maintain end-to-end automation pipelines and data processing jobs.
Use GenAI and GitHub Copilot for code generation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Monitor automation jobs and resolve operational issues.
Manage, filter, and cleanse large image datasets.
Support image quality review and data validation activities.
Work with Azure services for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Prepare technical documentation and status.
Collaborate with project teams to improve operational efficiency through automation.

Prerequisites

B.Tech / B.E. (Computer Science or IT), MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), or M.Sc. (Computer Science).
Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
Knowledge of Generative AI and GitHub Copilot for software development.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Good understanding of automation, scripting, and software development concepts.
Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Good to Have

Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, or REST APIs.
Exposure to AI/ML, image processing, or data annotation projects.
Basic Linux and database knowledge.
Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM-based solutions.

Specialization Description

General IT Applications Development includes analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software including:

Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the application
Coding internally developed applications and/or configuring commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages
Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements

Level Description

Entry to developing level professional with little or no prior experience required. Applies a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Work is closely supervised. Works to deliver day-to-day objectives with limited impact on achievement of results for the job area. Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
