Global Sales Lead - ISO Certification Domain Expert

Job Summary

We are building a scalable, multi-tenant ISO Certification Management Platform intended for Certification Bodies, Auditors, Consultants, and Client Organizations.

We are looking for an experienced ISO Certification Domain Expert who deeply understands end-to-end certification agency workflows and can translate real-world certification processes into clear, structured business requirements for product development.

This role will work closely with the Scrum Master, Product Team, and Technical Architects to ensure that what is built reflects actual certification practices, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Domain & Workflow Expertise
  
  

Provide End-to-end Understanding Of ISO Certification Lifecycle, Including

Client onboarding & application

Contract review

Stage 1 & Stage 2 audits

Auditor allocation & competence mapping

Non-conformity (NC) management

Corrective action tracking

Certification decision & approval

Certificate generation, surveillance, recertification, suspension & withdrawal

Cover multiple ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 45001, etc.)

Convert Certification Workflows Into

Clear business requirements

User journeys & process flows

Functional use cases & acceptance criteria

Define Roles And Responsibilities Such As

Certification body admin

Auditor

Technical reviewer

Act as a single source of truth for domain-related clarifications

Work Closely With The Scrum Master To

Break down complex workflows into epics, features, and user stories

Prioritize features based on real certification needs

Review And Validate

Sprint backlog items

Functional designs

Feature acceptance

Participate in sprint reviews and demos to validate domain correctness

Ensure Platform Alignment With

ISO/IEC standards

IAF, accreditation body guidelines

Certification body operational best practices

Advise on audit traceability, record retention, and compliance reporting

Validate data integrity and audit trail requirements

Bridge The Gap Between

Business users (certification agencies)

Product owners

Technical development teams

Provide clear explanations to non-domain technical teams to avoid misinterpretation

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Domain Experience

7+ years of hands-on experience in ISO certification domain, preferably as:

Certification Body Manager

Lead Auditor / Auditor

ISO Consultant

Technical Reviewer

Certification Operations Manager

Strong understanding of certification body operations and audit workflows

Domain Knowledge

In-depth Knowledge Of

ISO certification processes

Audit planning & execution

NC classification & closure

Certification decision workflows

Surveillance & recertification cycles

Experience working with accredited certification bodies is a strong plus

Product & Communication Skills

Ability to document:

Business processes

Workflow diagrams

Functional requirements

Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good to Have

Experience working with ISO software platforms or ERP systems for certification

Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS products

Prior involvement in product development or digital transformation projects

Understanding of API-based integrations (CRM, document management, billing)
