Software Engineer – Duck Creek Policy Configurator - Staff

Role Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience or exposure to Duck Creek Policy to support configuration and development of policy administration solutions.

The candidate should have good knowledge of Duck Creek components (Author, Rating, Forms, Express 3) and willingness to learn and work in Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development & Configuration

• Work on Duck Creek Policy configuration (Author, Rating, Forms, Express 3)
• Support enhancements, bug fixes, and development tasks
• Assist in configuring business rules and rating logic
• Support basic API integrations and data handling
• Debug issues with help of Data Tester ,Trace Monitor , UTIL , TSV and assist in fixing defects.
  
  

Functional & Policy Support

• Assist in implementing policy lifecycle processes
• Understand business requirements and support configuration tasks
• Work with team members to ensure correct implementation
• Support testing and validation activities
  
  

Delivery & Team Collaboration

• Work as part of the team to complete tasks on time
• Participate in Agile activities (stand-ups, sprint work)
• Coordinate with leads for clarification and support
• Assist in defect fixing and testing
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with team leads and business analysts
• Provide updates on assigned work
• Raise issues or blockers when needed
• Support UAT and post-deployment activities
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

Duck Creek & Technical

• 2–5 years of experience in Duck Creek / P&C insurance projects
• Basic to hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy
• Knowledge of Author, Rating, Forms, Manuscripts, Batches,Express 3 configuration
• Exposure to Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) is a plus
• Basic understanding of SQL and XML/JSON
  
  

Functional & Domain

• Basic understanding of policy lifecycle processes
• Willingness to learn Duck Creek and insurance concepts
• Exposure to reinsurance concepts is a plus
  
  

Good to Have / Nice to Have

• Exposure to Duck Creek configurations in real projects
• Experience in Agile environments
• Good communication and analytical skills
