Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

In order to be successful in the role you will need to:

• Have the ability to work in a “permanent Night Shift”, work in office 5 days a week through training and period to full production which is four to six months.   (Note: The USCB Bank Operation works in the window from 4 PM IST to 5 AM IST next day across 7 days a week)

• Need to have strong understanding of US Credit Bureau functioning, Bureau dispute issue handling and credit card product knowledge across US Consumer Banking (This will be preferred.).

• Strong Knowledge around US Regulations, Acts & Laws and Regulatory bodies like CFPB, BBB, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, ADA, SCRA etc.

• Strong comprehension skills with ability to review and validate documentation to ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.

• Execute work requirements in relation to issues raised by customers in relation to their customer credit file as identified in processes and procedures, perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high-quality standard. Collaborate with various business (Collections & Fraud) and internal/external stakeholders (US Based Credit Bureaus i.e. Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) to ensure timely resolution of customer Bureau disputes.
