Job Profile Summary

The Contracts Operations Specialist (Senior Associate) supports the day-to-day operations of the Contracts pillar within Consulting Quality & Risk Management. Based in Noida, this role executes standardized contract intake, creation, and administration activities, and provides extended-hours coverage that keeps the contracting queue moving across time zones. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment: the person in this role will manage competing deadlines, shift priorities quickly, and maintain accuracy and compliance under time pressure.

This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across a distributed, US-and-India team. The Specialist works closely with Contracts Managers, the Assistant Director, and cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Risk, and business-unit leadership) to ensure efficient contract lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute standardized contract intake, drafting, and creation activities, including simple and time-sensitive requests, in accordance with firm policies and regulations.

• Monitor shared mailbox and administer day-to-day workflow: uploads, execution steps, opportunity close initiation, Legal review requests, and redlines.

• Support administration of the contract management system (Icertis) to ensure data integrity, technical document setup, accurate reporting, and timely status updates.

• Proactively monitor contract movement and identify stalled, slow-moving, or stopped matters for resolution or escalation.

• Help identify and implement improvements to contract management processes, working with Contracts leadership to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.

• Partner with internal stakeholders — including Legal, Risk Management, Client-facing teams, and business-unit leaders — to ensure alignment on contract documentation and engagement processes.

• Assist in the preparation of contract-related reports, ensuring accurate data capture and up-to-date documentation.

• Maintain clear handoffs and documentation to support seamless coordination with U.S.-based team members.

• Support training on contract management workflows and technology tools as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, law, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, legal support, or operations, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
• Working Hours: 12:00 PM IST - 9:00 PM IST

• Familiarity with contract management systems, particularly Icertis.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, D365), ServiceNow, & AI productivity tools.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality. 

• Team-oriented, with experience working with diverse teams. 

• Ability to leverage available resources and contribute through others. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams, time zones, and levels of seniority.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-paced, high-volume environment.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 

• Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. 

• US Collaboration: willingness to work 4–5 hours of daily live overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT) teams for standups, handovers, and real-time collaboration to start.

• Candidate must have reliable means of commuting to and from local office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects or workflows related to contract management.

• Ability to identify areas for process improvement and propose practical solutions.

• Understanding of professional services business practices and priorities.

• Experience working in a global capability center or similar distributed operating model supporting U.S.-based stakeholders.

Work Environment

This role sits within a growing, fast-paced Contracts function supporting a high volume of consulting engagements. Priorities can shift quickly, and the Specialist should be comfortable balancing routine, standardized work with time-sensitive requests. The role is based in Noida, India, and works to provide extended coverage aligned with U.S. business-day overlap. US collaboration is required with shift flexibility possible upon demonstration of functional proficiency.
